This past weekend, Kadampa Meditation Center Colombia welcomed the Dharma Celebration—a joyful and uplifting spiritual gathering. Our National Spiritual Director, Gen Sangden, bestowed the empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita and shared profound teachings on the practice of the Great Mother and the Heart Sutra.

Through these teachings and the meditations guided by our Resident Teacher, Gen Atisha, we were able to connect with the wisdom of Buddha Prajnaparamita and receive her blessings. We also learned how to dispel all obstacles by contemplating emptiness, motivated by compassion.

In addition, the ordained Sangha of Colombia and our Resident Teacher participated in the Sojong ceremony. It was also a weekend of meaningful connection with practitioners from across the country, including Cali, Medellín, Bucaramanga, and Santa Marta—a true celebration of the Kadampa family in Colombia!
