Retreats at
KMC LONDON

Finding peace in the busy city.

KMC London in Morden & Kensington

In January at KMC London, we were fortunate to be led by our kind Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Zoma, in three wonderful retreats. Starting off in Morden at the beautiful Temple with the Vajrayogini practice of The Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability followed by The Yoga of Buddha Heruka, and concluding with Amitayus retreat in Kensington.

Vajrayogini Weekend Retreat in Morden

In South London, in Morden, at our beautiful Temple for world peace, Gen Zoma led us through the profound practice of The Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability, inspiring us all to believe that with great faith we can reach the Pure Land of Keajra in this life!

Blessings of Buddha Heruka in Morden

The following weekend we continued with Heruka retreat, also in Morden, which was a silent retreat. This allowed everyone to go deeper into the practice and step back from the distractions of London life!

Amitayus Retreat in Kensington

It is customary to engage in The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus at the beginning of the year.

Before the retreat, some of the Sangha spent some joyful days making offerings and making a beautiful shrine. We gathered together at our Kensington city space in central London for this retreat and engaged in prayers requesting help to lengthen our own and others' lifespan and increase our wisdom and good fortune. Some practitioners who were new to this practice particularly commented on how beautiful they found the mantra. What an auspicious way to start 2025!
