in France and Malaysia
Kadampa communities in Paris and Malaysia held blessing empowerments of Buddha White Tara and Avalokiteshvara
giving their centers a great start to the year.
WHITE TARA'S LIGHT OF WISDOM IN PARIS
2025 got off to a great start at Kadampa Meditation Center Paris. Over 100 people attended this Saturday's granting of the blessing empowerment of White Tara with Gen Tonpa! A record attendance for such an event.

Growing our Compassion in Penang (MALAYSIA)
On the first Saturday of 2025, Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Penang, held a blessing empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of compassion.
We were delighted that our community was joined by visitors from Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, as well as a visitor from the UK. Gen Lamchung guided and inspired us with beautiful meditations and encouraged us to use our daily experiences to deepen our love and compassion. We felt very blessed.
Following the empowerment day, some of us have been treated to a six-day guided retreat on the practice of Avalokiteshvara. May everyone be able to grow their love and compassion.
