Connecting with Buddha's blessings
This month precious blessing empowerments were given in Florida, Chiapas and Quebec. The empowerments offered us the special blessings of a deep guided meditation ceremony. We learned to strengthen and protect our wisdom and compassion.
Inspiration and wisdom in Florida
In December, Kadampa Meditation Center Florida in the US hosted a truly special event. Resident Teacher, Gen Gomlam, granted the empowerment of the Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa.
A heartfelt thank you to Venerable Geshe-la for his extraordinary blessings and wisdom and helping us to grow our capacity to bring spiritual wisdom and love into our world!

THE PREPARATIONS
Volunteers preparing for our Je Tsongkhapa empowerment weekend! An empowerment is a beautiful guided meditation through which we receive Buddha's inspiring blessings, connecting us to a powerful source of wisdom that will sustain and guide us throughout our spiritual life.
the power of faith in Buddha Shakyamuni in chiapas
This December, we had the great good fortune to receive the Shakyamuni Buddha empowerment at Drolma Kadampa Buddhist Center in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. Our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunwang, guided us through this beautiful and meaningful event, also offering teachings on the power of faith in our spiritual life and commentary on the Liberating Prayer.
Kelsang Lobon led the meditations at the event and Gen Palkyong presided over the Wishfulfilling Jewel Puja. This was a wonderful opportunity for our spiritual community to renew our spiritual energy and inspiration for our practice.

Conecting with Medicine Buddha in Sherbrooke, Quebec
Over 40 people attended a Medicine Buddha empowerment at Tara Kadampa Buddhist Center in Sherbrooke, Quebec on 7 and 8 December.
It was a time of connection with the community, filled with mutual support, joy, gratitude and the inspiring energy of the Seven Medicine Buddhas.
It was an enriching experience, full of meaning.
The day continued with a commentary on the practice in the afternoon teaching of the Commentary on Practice and a day of retreat the following day, during which everyone had the pleasure of experiencing these prayers and requests.
