Weekend of deeper inner peace
In August some Kadampa Centers organized group retreats to allow their students to gain deeper experience of inner peace.
Kailash IRC organized a mountain retreat, there was a beautiful urban retreat at KMC Argentina, and an island retreat hosted by KMC Vancouver and KMC Fraser Valley.
MOUNTAIN RETREAT AT KAILASH IRC
At Kailash IRC we had a retreat on “Understanding Karma - Create the life you want” led by Gen Devi, Resident Teacher at Kailash IRC. It was an inspiring weekend, with new insights and experiences gained. Besides the meditations and talks, there was plenty of time to walk and meditate in the beautiful surroundings.

WEEKEND silent retreat on bowen island
Over 30 people engaged in a weekend silent retreat hosted by KMC Vancouver and KMC Fraser Valley on the beautiful grounds of Rivendell Retreat Centre on Bowen Island, British Columbia.
Nestled within the forests of Cates Hill, we took a deep dive into the true nature of reality, emptiness, with Gen Delek and Gen Sanden. At our last away retreat we meditated on the first seven verses of the text: Eight Verses of Training the Mind. This year we focused on the eighth verse and meditated on the eight extremes, which was skillfully taught by our dear Teachers.
The teachings were profound and practical and the experience was peaceful and serene.
