On June 4, Kadampa Centers around the world celebrated the extraordinary life and dedication of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and the first Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. Every day we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, the root Guru and founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. On this auspicious day, with minds of joy and gratitude, practitioners offered their faith by reciting the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples with the recitation of our Guru's mantra in a one-day retreat.
