Spring Festival 2026 Day 1
May 22, 2026
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, our General Spiritual Director, visited the city to inaugurate the new meditation space of KMC Barcelona (at 97 Berlin Street), in a beautiful event that brought together more than 370 people.
During the event, Gen-la not only led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessed the new shrine statues designed and created at the Kadampa Art Studio, but also granted us the Bodhisattva vow in a Ceremony marked by the presence of sangha from various parts of the country.
In this way, we embark together on this journey towards the most altruistic way of life, which is truly wonderful!
We deeply thank all our spiritual friends who have made this beautiful event possible with their support, presence, and assistance.
Enveloped by the Sangha Jewel, this beautiful opportunity has been created to offer our practice, faith, and prayers to our Guru, and thus we all feel part of this great Project for World Peace.
Thank you, Venerable Geshe-la, for this precious gift.
The sun is shining and it's a delightfully warm English spring day. All day people stream in to Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in the Lake District - on coaches, in cars, by foot and in taxis. As new arrivals head to registration and get oriented, simultaneously preparations continue for the Festival to run smoothly in
