This was the theme of the latest retreat with Gen Eupame, the National Spiritual Director of France, organized at KMC France. With many years of study and practice of Buddhist teachings, Gen Eupame masterfully presented the keys to successful contemplation, and therefore successful meditation from the book How to Understand the Mind. Such a beautiful retreat - thank you, Gen Eupame, and thank you Geshe-la.
Medicine Buddha Retreat at Nagarjuna KMC Thornby Hall, UK
A beautiful weekend retreat was organized at Nagarjuna KMC Thornby Hall in the UK. Sangha from around the country and the local community came together to enjoy practicing Medicine Buddha Sadhana. Kadam Bridget Heyes, the Resident Teacher and National Spiritual Director for the UK, taught and guided meditations to strengthen our connection with Medicine Buddha.

How to Become a Friend of the World at KMC New Mexico, US
Gen Samten, Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center New York, visited KMC New Mexico and gave clear, heartfelt, and practical teachings on How to Become a Friend of the World. He encouraged us to be in this world but not of this world, to stop ordinarily responding to the world and instead become good-natured, patient, and loving. He encouraged us to create our own good habits to become friends of the world.
As Bodhisattvas, we embrace and love all beings. We are like a tiny grain of sand on a vast beach of living beings. In our insignificance, we understand our significance in this web. We aim to become protectors, protecting all living beings from suffering.
