Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Dharma in Merida
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, we celebrate with great joy and gratitude that 15 years ago, thanks to the kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Compassion Kadampa Buddhist Center opened its doors in the city of Mérida. Later, in April 2023 we became Kadampa Meditation Center Merida.
We celebrated with a fundraising fair, where we enjoyed delicious snacks, desserts and drinks, very fun games with prizes, and we watched a commemorative video. At the end, after some inspiring words from our Teacher Gen Chime, we ate the anniversary cake!
We sincerely hope that KMC Merida continues growing spiritually and materially for many more years, reaching more and more people so that they can enjoy the precious teachings of Kadampa Buddhism, through which they can solve all their problems and achieve permanent supreme inner peace.
