A wonderful opportunities for the practitioners around the globe arisen past weekend, where participants – those new and those with more experience received blessing Empowerments of Buddha Vajrapani at KMC Sidney Australia, Buddha Shakyamuni at KMC Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA and Buddha Shakyamuni at Nagarjuna KMC Leicester in UK.
KMC Monterrey & Tharpa Mexico were present at the 31st Monterrey International Book Fair distributing the work of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. There were nine days of activities which including a presentation of the book ‘How to Understand the Mind’ and interviews with local TV channels and there were thousands of interested visitors.
Over 500 people attended the National Brazilian Festival 2023 at the beginning of November at the Temple for World Peace, Kadampa Meditation Center Brasil. Practitioners from all over the country gathered to receive special blessings from Gen-la Dekyong, NKT’s General Spiritual Director who traveled to South America to grant the Empowerment of Buddha Amitayus.
Recently we featured Kadampa Centers around the world celebrating International Temples Project (ITP) Day with a special “movie night”. Here we shine the spotlight on three more center’s from KMC Los Angeles, KMC Canada, and Vajrapani KMC in the UK, who also celebrated ITP day in their own distinctive ways.
On October 28th, KMC Brooklyn held its third annual Walk and Talk at Green-Wood Cemetery to explore Buddhist thoughts around death, impermanence, and how to best use our precious human lives.
The long-anticipated opening weekend of the new meditation space in Barcelona was an exciting and well-attended event that brought together over 500 people from the local, national, and international Sangha. The atmosphere was filled with peace and spirituality.

This year many people celebrated together with a special “movie night”, featuring a new video that showed the development of the New Kadampa Tradition since its roots and presented new developments from various locations worldwide.
