Empowerments Happening Around the Globe
The New Kadampa community is steadily growing throughout the world. This week there were many wonderful opportunities for the practitioners around the globe where participants - those new and those with more experience received blessing Empowerments of Buddha Vajrapani at KMC Sidney Australia, Buddha Shakyamuni at KMC Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA and Buddha Shakyamuni at Nagarjuna KMC Leicester in UK.Â
Buddha Vajrapani Empowerment, KMC Sidney
On Sunday November 5th, KMC Sydney welcomed their community to a Buddha Vajrapani empowerment, granted by Resident teacher and National Spiritual Director - Gen Kelsang Rabten.
Community members from Newcastle, Central Coast, Canberra and even as far away as Brisbane attended. It was a wonderful opportunity to receive blessings and gather together.
Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment, KMC Fort Lauderdale in USA
KMC Fort Lauderdale celebrated ITP day on Saturday, November 4, with a Buddha Shakyamuni empowerment granted by Gen Jindak. Students from around Florida, including Fort Myers, Miami, Jacksonville, and Port St Lucie, joined the local sangha for this very special day, which included commentary on the Liberating Prayer.

"We had a truly wonderful experience at Nagarjuna KMC Leicester on Sunday as we received the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni from Kadam Chris Heyes. With 70 attendees, everyone enjoyed a vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere and inspiring teachings.
Following this, we watched a video celebrating the International Temples Project. This video was very well-received and helped everyone understand that we are part of a global tradition that is steadily expanding and spreading the teachings of Kadam Dharma to more and more people and countries.
