National Festival in Brazil, 2023
Over 500 people attended the National Brazilian Festival 2023 at the beginning of November at the Temple for World Peace, Kadampa Meditation Center Brasil. Practitioners from all over the country gathered to receive special blessings from Gen-la Dekyong, NKT’s General Spiritual Director who traveled to South America to grant the Empowerment of Buddha Amitayus.
In her teachings, Gen-la reminded us that we will always be connected to each other, as we work for the same purpose, share the same mind of faith, and, therefore, have the same intention. "One mind, one path, one direction, one dedication" quoted our General Spiritual Director, remembering the words of Geshe-la himself.
How wonderful to be able to repay the kindness of our Spiritual Guide through our sincere practice. May everything be auspicious for the Dharma to keep flourishing in Brazil.
