Today we came under the direct care of Vajrayogini and received her powerful blessings during the empowerment. 

Gen-la Dekyong described the practices of Heruka and Vajrayogini as our Heart Jewel, the heart of our root Guru, our Spiritual Guide - all coming from the Ganden Oral Lineage of the Kadam Emanation Scripture.  Gen-la very kindly shared many uncommon teachings and transmissions within the empowerment to illuminate the meaning of Vajrayogini Tantra. Her encouragement embraced everyone, from simple advice on how to keep our commitments and begin the path, to advice on how to completely purify our mind and gain the bliss of enlightened wisdom. 

Gen-la Dekyong reminded us that the people of this world have a special connection with Heruka and Vajrayogini and that, although we cannot see them, the emanations of Vajrayogini pervade everywhere. Through receiving the empowerment we ripen this connection, draw closer to Vajrayogini and receive the limitless benefits of this practice.

Vajrayogini is a female enlightened Being who is a manifestation of all the Buddhas and her function is to guide us out of the ordinary, ignorant world of mistaken appearance to a world of pure appearance known as Pure Dakini Land or Keajra. Through the kindness of our precious Spiritual Guide, our Guru, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, we can accomplish this in one short life by practising purely and sincerely.
