HERUKA'S PURELAND

Of all the extraordinary and priceless gifts we receive from our Venerable Spiritual Guide and Vajra Master - the incomparable Vajradhara Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche - the most treasured must be the supreme quick path to enlightenment, the bliss of the Father and Mother Heruka and Vajrayogini.

The heart of our tradition and at the very heart of the two weeks of this Summer Festival are the sublime empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini. Venerable Geshe-la has woven all the essential blessings and uncommon instructions of Tantra, gathered from our unbroken lineage of realised masters into these precious and rare empowerments.

Through the lineage and blessings coming from Venerable Geshe-la, Gen-la Dekyong’s sincere practice and through our faith and pure view, we entered into Heruka's mandala and received the empowerments that make it possible for us to become Heruka ourselves.

DAY 9 ~ HERUKA EMPOWERMENT

Heruka is the embodiment of the compassion of all Buddhas, and the empowerment itself contained so many meaningful practices that encapsulate all of the essential practices within Highest Yoga Tantra. In this way many imprints are placed in the minds of all those attending and many potentials are ripened for a pure body, speech and mind and to be of ultimate benefit to all living beings.

To conclude the empowerments we engaged in beautiful tsog offerings, prayers and dedications, united as a vajra family in the mandala of our spiritual father. Everyone enjoyed a deep sense of good fortune, with renewed Tantric vows and much inspiration to maintain the blessings of Heruka through our daily practice.
