A HEAVENLY VIEW

WELCOME TO A BEAUTIFUL FESTIVAL

There is a mixture of joy and excitement in the air as Kadampa’s start arriving at the festival site from every corner of the world. The sun is shining and everywhere you look there is kindness in action as the final touches to the festival are put in place and volunteers take up their stations to make the magic of festival happen.

Day 1 ~ arriving at the festival

A gorgeous golden shrine is being set-up, the festival cooks swing into action, a volunteer in a reflective vest rings a bell leading a coach filled with people into the circle. They file off the bus and into registration where months of preparation mean the process of registering is quick and smooth. A volunteer kindly enquires, do you need any support?

The juice bar, cafe and shop are open and the sun is shining. Old friends are meeting again and new friendships are being made as people sit in the sunshine outside. Someone comments how nice it is to be able to hug again.

One topic of conversation everywhere is all the beautiful improvements that have taken place at Manjushri Centre over the last year. People are so happy to see our precious mother centre being cared for and developed, and they are so happy to be home.
