Abiding in a Pure Land

Northeast Dharma Celebration 2022

Nearly 200 fortunate Kadampas gathered for this year's Northeast Dharma Celebration hosted at KMC New York.

This year, Kadam Morten Clausen, the Eastern US National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara and taught the practice of the three recognitions contained in the Avalokiteshvara practice in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions.

The introduction was given by Gen Kelsang Chenma, Resident Teacher at KMC Long Island, and meditations were led by Gen Kelsang Khedrub, Resident Teacher at KMC Boston.

"We dedicated all the merit of our weekend to world peace, to Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's long life, and to the flourishing of Dharma in our regions, our countries, and our world.

"Special thanks to the wonderful KMC New York community who do an incredible job of maintaining the Temple and its beautiful grounds. We are all thankful."
