A new center opens in Dublin

Dublin’s newest meditation space opened this weekend! It was such a wonderful weekend at the official opening of the beautiful new Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre, Templeogue Village, Dublin. Our National Spiritual Director Kadam Bridget Heyes gave such inspiring teachings and guided some beautiful meditations. We were so delighted to see friends old and new from all around Ireland drop in for the weekend.

Ten German cities meet Kadam Dharma

For two weeks Gen Ananda, National Spiritual Director of NKT for Germany, travelled throughout the country giving public talks on “Buddhas Weg zum Glück” (Buddha’s path to happiness) in some major cities such as Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Wiesbaden, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt, Essen and Hamburg.

Open doors, open heart

KMC Barcelona just hosted a wonderful Open Day including Prayers for World peace for local people combined with a traditional Catalan meal. For many this was their first chance to experience Kadam Dharma

A weekend of blessings

Recently, around 100 fortunate students at KMC Paris received the empowerment of Buddha Amitayus from the Resident Teacher Gen Tonpa. The following weekend, Gen Losang granted the blessing empowerment of Green Tara to a full house at Tara IKRC.

Special offering of faith 2022

On June 4 2021, which was the 90th birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Kadampa centers around the world joined in a special celebration of retreat and puja based on the recitation of Venerable Geshe-la’s name mantra. This gathering was the first of what has become a new event in the Kadampa calendar that will take place every year on June 4, which is Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day.

Embracing the future at the Kadampa Art Studio

Seventeen fortunate students from Kadampa centers around the world are currently engaged in a six-month training course at Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC.

The healing power of love

Recently KMC Georgia hosted the Southern US Dharma Celebration at which Kadam Morten, National Spiritual Director for Eastern US, gave the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha and teachings on the healing power of love. The meditations were led by Gen Norden, the Resident Teacher at KMC Georgia.

Wellbeing, balance & mental clarity

Over a hundred people enjoyed a wonderful weekend course at Manjushri KMC with Gen-la Kunsang, retired Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher at Madhyamkak KMC, entitled Restore Your Wellbeing, Balance and Mental Clarity. Gen-la was her usual joyful self and gave very accessible teachings that delighted everyone present. The weather was glorious and it was a real  pleasure to see so many people enjoying the Temple, cafe and grounds at the mother center.

Blessings of the Great Mother in Mexico

KMC Mexico recently held a special event at which Resident Teacher Guen Kelsang Sangden granted the empowerment of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita.
