IKRC Grand canyon, two years on
It has been just two years since we enjoyed the 2019 Fall Festival in Arizona and celebrated the opening of the fifth Kadampa Temple for World Peace at International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.
Last weekend, amid the rainbows, the Resident Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, who is the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, gave a powerful course on the twelve dependent related links as depicted in the drawing of the Wheel of Life.
The center is now well-established within the local community, and recently residents and friends of the center took part in the annual highway clean up, removing 30 bags of trash from the mile of freeway that runs past the center.
"Even in the rain, it was a delightful opportunity to give back to the community."
