a special time for kadampa centers worldwide
This weekend, many Kadampa centers around the world took advantage of the Easter holidays to offer special events. And with Saturday being NKT Day it was also an occasion for special pujas and celebrations. In this first post on the events of the weekend we feature the mother center, Manjushri KMC in the UK and IKRC Grand Canyon in the US.

At the mother center over 250 people enjoyed a special weekend course entitled Why we Need to Practice Tantra with Gen-la Kelsang Thubten and meditations guided by Gen Kelsang Drolkyi.
With people able to participate in the Temple for the first time in months and many more attending online, it was a very joyful and powerful event.
In the evening on NKT Day, everyone came together in the Temple for a special Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja presided over by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, Spiritual Director of NKT.

Over the weekend IKRC Grand Canyon hosted a course by Gen Kelsang Rigpa, National Spiritual Director for Western US and Resident Teacher at KMC Los Angeles.
80 people enjoyed the teachings on how to develop and maintain bodhichitta.
In the evening of NKT Day they were joined in the Temple by Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT and Resident Teacher at the center, who presided over a special Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja.
After the puja everyone enjoyed watching the NKT Day videos together in the Temple.
