TARA COMES TO OUR HOUSE AND TO OUR HEART
SPANISH FESTIVAL 2021
This weekend people all over Spain and beyond enjoyed the 21st National Spanish Festival with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, Spiritual Director of NKT - the the last National Festival before the opening of the Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Málaga next year. Over 550 people received the blessing empowerment of Arya Tara and teachings from Gen-la Dekyong, which were recorded at Manjushri KMC due to travel restrictions.
The Resident Teacher of KMC Barcelona, Gen Kelsang Lochani, gave the festival introduction and the Resident Teacher of KMC Madrid, Gen Kelsang Tsongmo, guided the morning meditations. The festival culminated with a six-session retreat with Gen Kelsang Chokga, National Spiritual Director of Spain and Resident Teacher of KMC Spain.
