More good news from Scotland!

'Due to the recent global pandemic, Kadampa Meditation Centre Glasgow closed it’s doors on March the 16th to protect our community and to support the governments message of ‘Stay Safe and Stay Home’

'Within 4 days of closing our centre, something quite extraordinary manifested- for the first time in our history we started streaming online meditation classes to people across Glasgow and the West of Scotland

'Many people who had struggled to access our events, were now able to tune in via the click of a button. We were inundated with messages of appreciation from people living on Islands on the West Coast of Scotland, busy parents with limited time, and people confined to their homes

‘Over the past 6 months, over 8 thousand people have engaged with our online classes, weekend courses, retreats and prayer sessions’

‘At a time when social anxiety, depression and mental health issues are at an all time high, Kadampa Meditation Centres have a crucial role to play in helping people find inner peace and a solution to their daily problems. Through the kindness of our founder and spiritual guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, these practical methods are now available to more and more people throughout the world. Never before have his words ‘everybody welcome’ felt so alive

‘It might be a while before we can host as many people as we used to, but the number of people who can access our online classes is unlimited’

'We look forward to seeing you all soon.
