Gen-la Khyenrab in New Zealand
After the Australian Festival, Gen-la Khyenrab travelled across the water for the New Zealand Festival.
Before the Festival began, Gen-la gave a public talk in Wellington entitled Happiness, Confidence and the Power of the Mind, which was attended by 180 people. During the talk Gen-la shared some profound wisdom from Venerable Geshe-la's book The Mirror of Dharma with Additions. Everyone was delighted with his powerful and incisive teaching.
Then the Festival! How wonderful to receive the empowerment of Vajrasattva from such a pure Teacher and to hear teachings on removing obstacles and negative karma.
It was a powerful Festival that had a deep impact on all present. Kelsang Shechog, Resident Teacher at KMC Wellington, taught the introduction and guided the retreat and Kelsang Luma, Resident Teacher at Kalpa Bhadra Centre in Christchurch, guided the morning meditations.
The Festival was a precious opportunity to catch up with Dharma friends from around New Zealand, and for the ordained Sangha to enjoy Sojong with Gen-la.
May everyone the throughout the country and the entire world enjoy such good fortune!
