We cannot blame others for our suffering

This weekend KMC Canada hosted the Ontario Dharma Celebration in Toronto with Gen-la Khyenrab, retired General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and National Spiritual Director of Canada.

"Gen-la granted us the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva, who is a manifestation of the completely pure mind of all the Buddhas.

"Through this empowerment we made a special connection with Buddha Vajrasattva’s enlightened mind. By receiving his purifying blessings we have the opportunity to completely free our mind from the negativities and wounds of the past."

Enjoy this brief excerpt from one of Gen-la's teachings in which he explains how there is no relationship between our inner experience of suffering and the activities of other people. By contemplating this teaching deeply we can learn to stop blaming others for our pain.
