The stunning World Peace Temple at Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood just hosted the California Dharma Celebration 2019.

Over 230 people gathered for the event. The temple was packed, the upper balcony full and a video link relayed the proceedings to the the overspill in the community room and outside under a tent in the courtyard.

Ten centers from California participated.

Gen Kelsang Rigpa, the Western United States National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, granted the empowerment of Buddha Buddha Vajrapani, the Buddha of Spiritual Power. He gave wonderful teachings on refuge, fearlessness that comes from selflessness, Venerable Geshe-la's kindness, and the power of the Three Jewels.

The introductory talk was given by Kadam Rebecca Gauthier and the morning meditations were led by Gen Kelsang Choma.

Despite the rain, it was a special time for everyone. So much joy, harmony, and inner peace!
