Today, October 25, is Je Tsongkhapa Day. Je Tsongkhapa is an emanation of Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. Buddha emanates as Je Tsongkhapa to spread his pure teachings of Sutra and Tantra in general, and especially Highest Yoga Tantra, throughout the world.
At the recent Fall Festival, we caught a glimpse of the vast and profound mirror of Dharma that is the holy mind of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. And now we are witnessing beautiful reflections from this mirror appearing all round the world.
Today we complete our roundup of the post Fall Festival retreats 2019 with photos from an urban retreat at KMC Mexico with Guen Sangden, and rural retreats at Madhyamaka KMC with Gen Tharpa, KMC Phoenix with Kadam Lucy, and KMC Brasil with Gen Togden.
The same is true of the development of the International Temples Project (ITP). Although much has been accomplished in recent years with the completion of five major Temples for World Peace and scores of smaller urban Temples, within the context of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s vast, compassionate vision this is just the beginning – the new moon.

September 22 marks the celebration of Buddha’s return from heaven, when we celebrate Buddha’s return from the desire god realm called Land of the Thirty-three Heavens, so-called because it has thirty-three different types of god.
