The people of Colombia just enjoyed their first ever Kadampa Dharma Celebration. Gen Kelsang Sangden, their National Spiritual Director granted the empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa and gave teachings on the practice. It was a great success with 92 people attending from all over Colombia and beyond.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dharma centers and communities working together harmoniously to give and receive teachings, in-person and on-line, are truly objects of rejoicing. Here we feature a center where the students were able to gather in person to receive empowerment and teachings this weekend as Gen Kelsang Rinchung granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani at KMC Argentina.
In a couple of weeks, Colombia will enjoy its first ever National Kadampa Dharma Celebration hosted by KMC Colombia . It will be an excellent opportunity to gather Kadampa Buddhist practitioners and supporters from all over Colombia and neighboring countries.
Gen Kelsang Mudita, Brasil National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher at KMC Mahabodhi in São Paulo, recently granted the empowerment of Buddha Manjushri at KMC Mahabodhi. The event was broadcast live to 97 participants.
