This special retreat at the First Kadampa Temple for World Peace at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre began with an introduction by our General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa. Over the following two days we took the eight Mahayana precepts and then engaged in three sessions each day of the sadhana Drop of Essential Nectar.

Everyone was welcome to join this precious retreat held at this blessed place. By making extensive offerings, praises and prostrations to Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara, participants accumulated great merit, purified vast negativity and deepened their experience of love, compassion and bodhichitta.
