Conishead Priory Grounds & Paths
Jun 5, 2026
This special weekend in April offered a deeply meaningful and inspiring experience at KMC Argentina. During the introduction, guided by Kelsang Panchen, we were encouraged to recognize our great good fortune and to value the precious opportunity we have, with this human life, to train our mind in Dharma.
The highlight of the Celebration was the blessing empowerment of Green Tara, granted by our National Spiritual Director, Gen Rinchung. Through this empowerment we received powerful inspiration to become authentic examples of peace in our world.
Gen Rinchung also gave teachings on the practice Liberation from Sorrow, showing how to rely upon Tara in daily life to overcome fear and obstacles. During the retreat, guided by María Florencia Kais, participants had the opportunity to deepen their experience of Tara practice, bringing the teachings closer to the heart and into daily life.
Experiences such as this remind us that inner transformation is the true foundation for world peace. By reducing fear and cultivating positive minds, we contribute directly to a more peaceful world. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event so meaningful. Let us continue to move forward together, step by step, towards a freer and more peaceful world.
Practitioners from across the Midwest gathered at KMC Madison in the USA for a joyful and inspiring Midwest Dharma Celebration 2026. This special event provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our great good fortune, deepen our understanding of Dharma, and strengthen our connection with the spiritual community.
The highlight of the Celebration was receiving the blessing empowerment of Buddha Green Tara from the US Midwestern National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Demo. Through her clear and heartfelt teachings, Gen Demo guided us to connect with Green Tara’s compassionate and fearless wisdom, helping us to overcome obstacles and cultivate inner peace.
Throughout the weekend, participants engaged in powerful teachings, guided meditations and the opportunity to spend time with Sangha. The atmosphere was warm, harmonious and deeply inspiring, reminding us of the strength we gain from practicing together.
Many participants left feeling renewed, encouraged and inspired to bring Tara’s fearless compassion into their daily lives. By relying upon these teachings we can continue to develop wisdom, reduce fear and make steady progress along the spiritual path.
This year’s Midwest Dharma Celebration reminds us of the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso whose guidance and teachings continue to illuminate our spiritual path.
An Inspiring New Project that will shape the future of Manjushri KMC's diverse and peaceful woodlands.
