Purification with
Buddha Vajrasattva
At the end of the year, Kadampa centers often hold purification retreats to enter the new year with a lighter, more peaceful mind. Here we share some of the recent retreats held in Valladolid and Albacete (Spain), Johannesburg (South Africa), and Montpellier (France).
Purifying the Mind Through Solitary Vajrasattva Retreat in valladolid
This weekend we had the precious opportunity to purify our minds through the practice of Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva. During this retreat, guided by Kadam Natalia, we learned how to apply the four opponent powers correctly, making our purification practice more powerful and helping us to cleanse negative karma—the root of all suffering.
Each year we are able to engage in this meaningful retreat thanks to the great kindness of our dear Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, who taught this practice and continually encourages us to apply it regularly to end present and future suffering. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated; without you, these retreats would not be possible.
Purification and Blessings in Johannesburg
Vajrapani KBC in Johannesburg hosted a joyful weekend retreat, combining the powerful Vajrasattva purification practice with a Powa session. With many visitors joining, it was a heartwarming time of reflection, purification, and connection with the Sangha.
Vajrasattva Purification Weekend IN MONTPELLIER
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend of purification with Buddha Vajrasattva, guided by Kadam Olivier. Our heartfelt thanks go to our Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the organizers, and all participants for making this such an inspiring and memorable retreat.
Profound Purifying URBAN RETREAT in Albacete, Spain
During this Vajrasattva retreat, we came together with the profound aim of purifying our minds in order to transform the way we perceive the world. Freeing the mind from anger, anxiety, attachment and stress makes life feel lighter, kinder and brighter. We learned that true happiness does not depend on our environment, but on the clarity and serenity of our minds.
With heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined, and especially to our Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, who encourages us to practice Dharma and cultivate inner peace, love and wisdom. May the benefits of this retreat continue to blossom in our lives, and may Dharma flourish endlessly. Everything changes when the mind is purified.
