On 25 December, Manjushri KMC was alive with visitors and residents coming together to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Alongside the traditional Christmas lunch and evening Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers, we also had the precious opportunity to enjoy the Christmas Course and Retreat with Gen Tilopa.
These days were a deeply meaningful time, gathering with old and new friends to meditate on the love that cherishes others, and to celebrate Christmas with a joyful, peaceful mind inspired by Dharma.
The Christmas lunch was a warm and joyful occasion, bringing everyone together to share food, friendship, and to appreciate the kindness and generosity of one another.
We shared special moments with teachings and meditations, nature walks, a movie afternoon with the film The Life of Buddha, an offering of lights to Buddha Avalokiteshvara and a Christmas dinner with the Kadampa family. To conclude, we celebrated the day with Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers in the Temple.
Thank you everyone very much for sharing the holidays in peace, developing a warm heart, and cherishing each other.
Around 60 people came together at KMC France to celebrate Christmas in a different way. Gen Eupamé inspired us to focus on what truly matters during this retreat: joy, love, and sharing.
On the evening of the 24th, we gathered for a festive aperitif, a wonderful opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and countries. The meal, with its touch of fine gastronomy, delighted our senses. After dinner, we felt deeply united as an international spiritual family as we engaged together in Prayers for World Peace.
On the morning of the 25th, the magic of Christmas continued as snow had fallen overnight. We woke to a transformed KMC France, covered in a peaceful blanket of white.
We enjoyed a generous and varied Christmas brunch before leaving with hearts full of love and gratitude for these precious moments that allow everyone to spiritually recharge.
On Christmas Eve, Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle, US, welcomed the festive season with a beautiful candlelit celebration guided by visiting Teacher, Gen Demo. Gathering together in a warm and peaceful atmosphere, everyone enjoyed a joyful evening inspired by Dharma, sharing light, joy, and a sense of togetherness that made this holiday occasion especially meaningful.
An Inspiring New Project that will shape the future of Manjushri KMC's diverse and peaceful woodlands.
