Two beautiful special events in Spain
Celebrating Dharma far and wide — inspiring events have taken place in Kadampa centers in Spain. KMC Barcelona received a visit from Gen-la Dekyong and in Madrid, an unforgettable empowerment with Gen Chokga.
Welcome Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong to KMC Barcelona
For just a few hours, we had the immense good fortune to be visited by the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
It was a magical visit that inspired the entire Sangha in Barcelona and the surrounding area, who welcomed her with a packed meditation hall!
Thank you so much for coming, blessing us, inspiring us and teaching us the best way to contribute to our centers: by putting Dharma into practice, setting a good example and sharing the wisdom of Lamrim.

An Unforgettable Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni in Madrid
This weekend we experienced the most important event of the year at KMC Madrid: the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, shared with more than 140 people united by faith, devotion, and a love that could truly be felt in the air. It was a moment filled with blessings, where every glance radiated inspiration and every silence was full of meaning.
The precious Jewel of the Sangha shone with exceptional strength, supporting us and reminding us that we never walk alone. Together, we touched the peace, happiness, and confidence that arise in our hearts when we open our minds to Buddha’s blessings.
In Modern Buddhism, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso reminds us:
“Happiness depends upon peace of mind, and since peace of mind depends upon Buddha’s blessings, he is the source of all happiness.”
This weekend we experienced this firsthand—a subtle yet profound transformation that inspires us to continue on the spiritual path with a more open and confident heart.
We conclude this unforgettable weekend with gratitude, with peace, and with the certainty that a community united by Dharma is a powerful source of inspiration for everyone.
