Special Events around the world with visiting Teachers

After International Festivals, many Kadampa Teachers travel to different parts of the world, giving people everywhere the opportunity to receive teachings and inspiration from those who attended the Festival. Here, we present events in Granada (Spain), Monterrey (Mexico), Colombia, and Quebec (Canada).

Gen Rabjor, the Resident Teacher at KMC Cádiz, visited Granada.

This weekend, we were truly fortunate to welcome Gen Kelsang Rabjor to KMC Granada. During his visit, we received invaluable teachings on how to overcome feelings of loneliness. These profound and wisdom-filled teachings encourage us to turn inward and discover the peace and happiness that are naturally within us.

We would like to warmly thank Gen Rabjor for his guidance, and everyone who joined us for their presence and for making this wonderful weekend possible.

Gen Lochani, the resident teacher from KMC Barcelona, visited Monterrey.

An evening full of inspiration and wisdom on Tuesday, October 14th. We enjoyed a beautiful talk with Gen Kelsang Lochani, Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Barcelona, at the MARCO Museum of Contemporary Art.

On the theme 3 keys to staying motivated and happy, we learned how to maintain a positive and balanced mind, even in the midst of everyday challenges.

Through profound teachings and simple practices, Gen Lochani showed us how to transform our thoughts and emotions to find authentic and lasting happiness.

Gen ChokYONG, the resident teacher at KMC Chile, visited Colombia.

This weekend, KMC Colombia had the honor of welcoming the National Spiritual Director of Chile, Gen Chokyong. It was a wonderful opportunity for practitioners in Colombia to receive and enjoy his joyful and inspiring teachings.

We hosted two special events with him: a public talk titled How to Stay Positive in the Midst of Chaos, and a weekend retreat focused on the Heart Jewel practice, with a particular emphasis on relying on the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. Around 130 people had the opportunity to participate in these activities.

It was a deeply meaningful weekend—an opportunity to strengthen our practice and deepen our faith in our Spiritual Guide and the Protector.

kelsang TSULMA, THE RESIDENT TEACHER AT KMC TROIS-RIVIÈRES, VISITED QUEBEC

On Saturday evening, we organized a special Q & A event in which people were able to send their questions in advance to our guest Teacher, Kelsang Tsulma. The talk was therefore meant to answer people's common questions but also offer deeper reflections about meditation and Buddhism, as well as address issues people face in their daily life. Several people were able to get answers to their questions and even chat with our guest Teacher afterwards. It felt truly beneficial and inspiring.

Sunday morning, we delved into exploring our own minds to learn how to recognize, reduce, and then abandon our agitated, disturbed states of mind. Tsulma helped us see how we can gradually transform the three difficulties into three “easy steps” through the power of familiarity. She clearly explained that by understanding the six causes of delusion, we will gradually be able to eliminate them from our minds and experience our pure, essential nature, a calm and deep inner peace.

We concluded this special weekend with “croissants and coffee”, in which all the participants could continue their meaningful conversations.

Thank you to everyone who participated in person or online; thank you to Kelsang Tsulma and the organizers for this wonderful weekend; and most of all, thank you Geshe-la for giving us such a meaningful life.

Gen Chokga, the Resident Teacher from KMC Madrid, visited Valencia.

We were very fortunate to welcome our National Spiritual Director to KMC Valencia.

Her visit was a precious opportunity to receive profound advice, heartfelt inspiration, and blessings that strengthen our faith and spiritual practice.

May the wisdom and kindness we received continue to guide us and bring peace to all beings.
