In April, the Southeast Asian Dharma Celebration was held in Penang, Malaysia, the Scottish Dharma Celebration was held at KMC Glasgow and the Florida Dharma Celebration at KMC Florida.

Last weekend, 120 modern Kadampa disciples had the great good fortune to gather together in Penang, Malaysia, for our annual Southeast Asian Dharma Celebration. During the celebration, we received the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa from our National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Rabten.

This was an especially auspicious occasion as we received it together on NKT Day! Gen Rabten then kindly gave us commentary on the Request to the Lord of All Lineages prayer throughout the weekend, which we had the opportunity to meditate on together each morning under the guidance of Gen Kelsang Lamchung, the Resident Teacher of Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre located in Penang.
The celebration was an incredibly blessed experience, leaving us with a profound sense of gratitude. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated individuals who worked tirelessly to organize and run this meaningful event, to the inspiring Teachers who shared their wisdom, and especially to our kind Spiritual Guide and root Guru, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, for his boundless compassion in making these precious teachings and practices accessible to us all.

As the sun sets upon a sunny Glasgow, the Scottish Dharma Celebration comes to a close for another year. And what a Celebration it was - receiving the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha and a special commentary on how to practice this powerful prayer in our daily life.
Such a timely intervention to heal our own mind and in doing so transform our often troubled world into one of peace and harmony. Thank you, Kadam Bridget Heyes, for inspiring us to practice purely and sincerely, and for a wonderful empowerment and for such clear and accessible teachings this weekend.

Florida Dharma Celebration 2025
HEAL OUR MIND, HEAL OUR WORLD
with National Spiritual Director Kadam Morten Clausen
KMC Florida hosted the Florida Dharma Celebration, Heal Our Mind, Heal Our World, the weekend of March 28 - 30th in Sarasota, FL. Kadam Morten, the US National Spiritual Director, granted Medicine Buddha Empowerment to over 180 people (in-person and online).
Through the blessing empowerment ceremony and teachings, we developed a special relationship with Medicine Buddha and practiced abiding in and transforming our world into Medicine Buddha’s Pure Land, Lapis Jewel Land. May we continue to develop our potential for healing our inner and outer sicknesses and follow the path that leads to permanent freedom from suffering for ourselves and others.
