In early December, two meditation retreats took place in the mountains of Mexico and Switzerland. KMC Monterrey’s community contemplated teachings on emptiness during their annual Heart of Wisdom retreat, while Sangha from Italy and Switzerland drew closer to the meaning of Je Tsongkhapa's Three Principal Aspects of the Path.
The KMC Monterrey community in Mexico gathered for the annual Heart of Wisdom retreat at Hotel Chipinque in early December. Guided by our Resident Teacher, Kelsang Damcho, participants received inspiring teachings and engaged in profound meditations on emptiness.
We also had the wonderful opportunity to experience the three types of retreat — physical, verbal, and mental — learning to know our mind through the practice of silence in a scenic environment.
We thank our kind Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for this opportunity.
We are infinitely grateful to all the participants for being part of this incredible experience, the volunteers who made it possible, and our beloved Resident Teacher Kelsang Damcho for guiding us along the path.
In the beautiful mountains of Valais, Menla KBC of Locarno organized a retreat at Kailash IRC.
Five very significant days for the Italian-speaking Sangha of Ticino (Switzerland) and Italy. During the retreat, the Resident Teacher of Menla Center, Gen Chö, led the participants in deep meditations on The Three Principal Aspects of the Path to Enlightenment by Je Tsongkhapa, giving inspiring teachings and precious and practical instructions on how to apply them in daily life.
The joyful strength and inspiration of the participants made this retreat a very profound and meaningful experience for everyone.
