Cherishing shrines in Canada, Spain, France and the UK
A qualified shrine is the heart of every Kadampa Center around the world. Being an essential part of every Kadampa Temple, communities take great care to beautify and continually improve the shrines within their meditation rooms. As a result, meditation rooms become the most beautiful, relaxing and inviting spaces, open to everyone to gather, receive teachings, meditate and pray. Recently KMC Montreal, KMC Madrid, KMC Metz, and KMC Lancaster undertook renovation work on their shrines. See below for photo galleries.
BRINGING THE NEW shrine TO LIFE AT KMC MONTREAL
This year the conditions were right for KMC Montreal to improve its shrine. Venerable Geshe-la's Collected Works have appeared inside the shrine! We also repainted the wall, put in shelves for two stupas, added shelves under the Field Of Merit tangkhas, and more.

Thank you to everyone who has worked to bring this shrine to life, which will benefit many future generations of practitioners and a deep thank you to Venerable Geshe-la for his inspiration and kindness in manifesting pure places and objects in our world.
Beautiful renovations at kmc madrid
The community at KMC Madrid, Spain, and its branch in Ibiza applied joyful effort to cherish the meditation rooms in their centers, preparing them for the arrival of a new statue in Ibiza and the start of a new term of activities after the International Summer Festival.
During the two weeks of the Summer Festival, those who stayed at the centers made beautiful renovations, focusing on the common areas and the meditation rooms in both centres. Additionally, the branch in Ibiza received a beautiful statue of Geshe-la, and they took the opportunity to thoroughly clean and improve the center. What great fortune it is to prepare these spaces so that many students can come to know and practice Dharma. Thank you, Geshe-la, for your great kindness.
WELCOME TO THE NEW STATUE OF GESHE-LA
Beautiful work at KMC Metz has been completed. All the volunteers have been working so joyfully to finish the meditation room of the center. They have made and fitted doors to enter the shrine, made a beautiful base to hold the new statue of Venerable Geshe-la, and sanded and varnished the shrine shelf for offerings.
Thank you Venerable Geshe-la and thank you everyone again for all the time and joyful effort you have put into ensuring that the Kadampa Meditation Center in Metz continues to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the experience of inner peace.
KMC Lancaster receives new Statues
KMC Lancaster has recently undergone some refurbishment with a newly painted reception area and meditation room. Beautiful Tharpa Publications prints now adorn the walls of our public area, creating a beautiful environment for relaxation and discussion.
Following our preparations, a blessed new arrival, Buddha Shakyamuni, appears! How wonderful.
