Gathering Inner causes for a happy and meaningful life
In the last few weeks, participants in Spain and South Africa have had the opportunity to engage in various retreats and create the inner causes for a happy and meaningful life.
The union of sutra and tantra - away retreat
Last weekend, KMC Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain) enjoyed a meditation retreat at KMC Madrid - La Sierra. We received profound teachings from our Resident Teacher, Eva Pérez, on the Union of Sutra and Tantra of Kadam Lamrim from the texts Modern Buddhism & The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, both written by our supremely kind Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Eva guided essential meditations, helping us create the real causes in our minds to live a happy and meaningful human life. Thanks to this retreat, we made some progress in our spiritual journey to liberation and full enlightenment.
Surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes, KMC Madrid offered us the perfect outer conditions to support our retreat, making us joyful and inspired. Thanks very much to everyone who attended, and special thanks to KMC Madrid for accommodating us!
Thirsty Falls Nature Retreat – Maggaliesberg
Finding Peace Away Retreat took place on 19 - 21 April. Organized by Vajrapani KBC in Johannesburg in South Africa, and called – 'Finding Peace,' it was very well received. Participants shared that it was a fantastic spiritual retreat and expressed their gratitude for it being available to everyone.
