Enjoying Vajrayogini Practice in January
The month of January is a powerful time for practitioners of Heruka and Vajrayogini to make offerings and do retreat. The two tsog days within this month are particularly special. The first, January 10, is a special day of Vajrayogini. Here are some photos from retreats and prayers in the first part of January
KMC Madrid La Sierra
At KMC Madrid some fortunate people were able to engage in a close retreat of Vajrayogini for the entire month. For those who could not do so, the Center organized a special weekend on January 6th and 7th at KMC Madrid La Sierra in the Guadarrama mountains.
Part of the Madrid Sangha joined the close retreat group for the weekend's practice sessions. More than 30 Vajrayogini practitioners meditated together, with the guidance of Guen Kelsang Tsongmo. On a very cold weekend, where it even snowed in Madrid, the practitioners shared with residents and volunteers moments of rest and many talks about the retreat that is just beginning. They also enjoyed delicious food, and homemade cakes in the World Peace Café.
Tantric Weekend Retreat at KMC Merida, Mexico
This was a beautiful event taught by our beloved Resident Teacher, Gen Chime, where we were able to delve deeper into Vajrayogini practice. Thank you all for your participation and enthusiasm.
Feast of Great Bliss at Tharpaland KMC
On January 10, Vajrayogini Day, around 30 people gathered at Tharpaland KMC as part of the annual winter retreat on the generation and completion stages of Vajrayogini to practice the Feast of Great Bliss sadhana, the self-initiation sadhana of Vajrayogini. With wonderful weather conditions outside - snow and sun - the participants enjoyed a blessed and harmonious event under the guidance of Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Ananda.
Celebrating at KMC Monterrey
Happy Vajrayogini Day! Today at KMC Monterrey, we celebrate this auspicious day by engaging in the practice of The Quick Path to Great Bliss with an abundance of offerings.
Vajrayogini Day at KMC Deuachen
At KMC Deuachen in Portugal, Vajrayogini Day was celebrated in the midst of the Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka Close Retreat. It was an extremely auspicious, powerful and blessed day for everyone.
