Dorje Shugden Empowerment and Teachings with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang
This year, the Dharma Festival for the three countries: Switzerland, Italy and Austria, offers the special opportunity to receive the blessing empowerment of Protector Buddha, Dorje Shugden and teachings on how to draw close to him using the special sadhana Wishfulfilling Jewel.
Kadampa Practitioners who develop a sincere trust in Dorje Shugden will have no difficulty in generating unshakeable faith in Je Tsongkhapa. This is because of their special connection. This faith will lead us swiftly to experience all the realisations of Sutra and Tantra and the supreme happiness of enlightenment.
Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang is the National Spiritual Director of Switzerland, Italy and Austria and a former Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU and the Resident Teacher of Madhyamka KMC in Yorkshire in England. She has been a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years and during this time has traveled the world to teach meditation and explain Buddha’s teachings. She has won the admiration and affection of many students through her loving kindness and her exceptionally pure example of a modern Kadampa practitioner. Her teachings are powerful and clear.
Gen-la Kunsang will teach how to care for and deepen our Kadampa faith; make a strong connection with Dorje Shugden and give commentary to the uncommon sadhana Wishfulfilling Jewel. She will also give instructions on how to engage in close retreat of Dorje Shugden.
Kailash International Retreat Centre is the venue where the Dharma Festival is held. Kailash International Retreat Centre is a special place of peace and refuge set within the tranquil historic village of Törbel, Switzerland. Kailash offers a variety of meditation retreats and courses suitable for everyone. The Retreat centre’s large main building and beautiful modern Kadampa Temple overlook the Matter and Saas valley, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.
