DAY 6 ~ THE PEACE OF RETREAT

The last day of retreat is here, with five glorious sessions of meditation on the concluding stages of Lamrim. These meditations are the most perfect preparation for receiving the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments. They ensure our motivation is pure, that we are ready and able to let go of our ordinary self through meditating on emptiness and that our practice of Tantra will be firmly based on the Lamrim of Sutra.

One special aspect of attending Festivals is that you have the opportunity to acquire everything you need for your spiritual practice at home. All the Festival teachings are based on Venerable Geshe-la's 23 precious books, and these are available in multiple languages. These books are our Spiritual Guide and through relying on them we will be able to gain the same realisations as our Spiritual Guide.
