During the opening ceremony, Gen-la shared with those present the deep meaning of Buddhist practice as a search for inner peace, thus establishing a method to fulfill the deep wish to be happy that we all have. She explained how meditation and understanding the mind can help us find a lasting state of serenity amidst life's changing circumstances.

After the inspiring talk, the attendees participated in a Wishfulfilling jewel with Tsog offering so that our new temple was blessed and protected by the holy beings.

The next day, a course was held on how to apply the spiritual methods of Kadam Dharma. Gen-la revealed how all beings have an unlimited spiritual potential of love, compassion, and liberating wisdom that enables us to benefit others, giving us the opportunity to enjoy a deeply happy and meaningful life.

During the course, the participants had the opportunity to learn very inspiring teachings, full of humor and wisdom, based on excerpts from the texts Modern Buddhism, How to Transform Your Life and How to Understand the Mind, written by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
