Welcome to the 2022 Summer Festival

Ready to begin

Finally, after a wait of three years we are gathering again at the mother centre to listen to and contemplate Dharma and to be together as a worldwide sangha family at an international festival.

This evening at 7.30 we will enter the Temple to listen to the introductory teaching with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang.

There is a a joyful busyness everywhere. Human chains unloading the food that will feed thousands of people and a small army of dedicated Kadampas planning the volunteer rotas for the various areas.

Meanwhile everywhere people are arriving. Spilling out of buses and cars, with large rucksacks and small children, pushing wheelbarrows and pulling suitcases. All through the woods tents are springing up and wherever you turn people are greeting each other.

We need the union of great bliss and emptiness

Here we feature a wonderful video made by one of the students of KMC Spain. As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first Kadampa Temple for World Peace, this video shows us how far the International Temples Project has progressed.
