a wonderful, wonderful thing for our world

Gen Kelsang Menla is Resident Teacher at KMC Texas. He has a unique perspective on NKT because his center arose from the direct presence of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, who lived in the Dallas area for several years sowing the seeds of Kadam Dharma in the USA. Gen Menla recently shared a heartfelt post on Facebook, which we reproduce here

I love how in the New Kadampa Tradition we are bonded together through love, truth, faith and respect.

It is such a beautiful example for our world that we are from so many cultures, with so many backgrounds, yet we are in harmony. We are strong together. Each of us is different but all connected. Like leaves on a tree, each unique, but all connected back through the branches and the trunk, to the deep roots of reliance upon our Spiritual Guide.

Venerable Geshe-la has done a wonderful, wonderful thing for our world. This international family is unprecedented for Kadampa Buddhism. Proud to be a part of it!

If you don't know much about us, check us out. Everyone welcome!
