Almost 200 people gathered in Singapore for the 2019 Asian Kadampa Festival with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, retired General Spiritual Director and National Spiritual Director for Canada.

The Festival was introduced by Gen Kelsang Drolkyi Resident Teacher at KMC Singapore, who taught a beautiful and encouraging presentation of the six causes of delusion to give us confidence in our ability to free ourselves from turbulence in the mind.

This perfectly primed us for the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni with Gen-la Khyenrab. Gen-la then gave a profoundly insightful and practical commentary to the Request Prayer to the Lord of All Lineages.

Blending the instructions on contemplation and meditation from The Mirror of Dharma, Genla taught all aspects of the path to enlightenment and touched Kadampa hearts from all over Asia and beyond.

The Festival concluded with a blissful retreat led by Gen Kelsang Rabten, the National Spiritual Director for the region.

Everyone returned home extremely blessed, determined to follow in the footsteps of Buddha.
