With less than two weeks to go before the Fall Festival begins, work is well under way preparing for this special event with joyful, warm-hearted people from many countries helping out.

A truck of essential equipment has been loaded at the mother centre, Manjushri KMC in the UK, and is on its way to Portugal.

While in Madrid an enthusiastic team of volunteers is preparing everything for the Festival shop.

At the Temple in Sintra over 50 local volunteers have come together to clean the Temple, prepare the grounds and camping areas, and get the Festival kitchen and dining room ready.

The KMC Tharpa and Gift Shop have been dissolved to make way for an expanded World Peace Cafe and family video link.

And in Porto a team is busy making new tormas for the Temple.

Today work begins on erecting the marquees!

The Festival promises to be a warm, friendly and blessed occasion that will be both energising and relaxing for those fortunate to attend
