Almost 40 years ago (27 August 1977) the world renowned meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche arrived at Manjushri Centre in the UK – an event that heralded the dawn of modern Kadampa Buddhism in this world.

Since that time Venerable Geshe-la has worked tirelessly to introduce modern Kadampa Buddhism into contemporary society and create a worldwide infrastructure to support its growth and development in this and future generations.

One of his greatest kindnesses has been the writing of numerous Dharma books and the training of many qualified Dharma teachers, perfectly presenting the teachings of Buddha in a way that is accessible and practical for modern people.

We are delighted to celebrate this ’40 years of kindness’ by announcing the much-anticipated new edition of Venerable Geshe-la’s book, Ocean of Nectar – The True Nature of All Things. This book is a real treasury of wisdom that reveals all the stages of the vast and profound paths of Buddha’s teachings.

Read more about the book and the special opportunity to study it.

Purchase the book from the Tharpa Publications UK.
