Assembly of Good Fortune

3500 people from all over the world gathered together in the World Peace Temple, the largest gathering since Venerable Geshe-la last taught here in 2009. As General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Dekyong said it was truly an assembly of good fortune as together we received the rare and precious Empowerment of Heruka Body Mandala.

Sitting in the Kadampa Temple at Manjushri KMC surrounded by the global Kadampa family it is easy to imagine you are sitting in Buddha Heruka’s celestial palace; the beautiful Temple, is built on the traditional design of Heruka’s mandala making it the most extraordinary and fitting place to receive these profound blessings. Gen-la Dekyong gently and clearly guided us through the meditations; it was a truly magical experience. Once you’ve been here and experienced it for yourself, it’s not hard to see why people fly across the world to be here every summer.

Gen-la’s reminders to maintain our pure motivation, the supreme good heart of Bodhichitta, supported by sound reasoning is truly inspiring and also life changing. How wonderful when this assembly of good fortune fulfil their virtuous wishes. We are definitely creating the causes!
