The Compassionate Heart of Bodhichitta – UKDC 2023
Over the weekend of the 8th-11th September 2023, Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, had the great good fortune to host the United Kingdom Dharma Celebration. Led by Kadam Bridget Heyes, UK National Spiritual Director, who granted the Empowerment of Avalokiteshvara followed by teachings on the healing Minds of Love and Compassion. Kadam Bridget Heyes shared oral tranmission from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche on the instructions how to equalise self and others, exchange self with others and generate authentic minds of Bodhichitta.
Gen-la Khyenrab special visit at KMC Vajrapani
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab had a special visit to Vajrapani KMC this weekend. He gave a public talk on Friday evening, “Lift your life out of the ordinary”, followed by a day course on Saturday, “Being fearless in appearance and emptiness”.
Protecting our spiritual life – German Dharma Celebration
Last weekend, Kadampas from all over Germany gathered at Tharpaland KMC for the 2023 German Dharma Celebration with Gen Kelsang Ananda, the National Spiritual Director of NKT for Germany to celebrate and practice the precious Kadam Dharma together.
Official Grand Opening in Aberdeen
Having completed the centre during the pandemic, Kadampa Meditation Centre Aberdeen were delighted to finally welcome Kadampa’s from all over Scotland and beyond, to their official Grand Opening with Gen-la Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
Scottish Dharma Celebration 2023
Last weekend the Scottish Dharma Celebration returned to Stirling, as Sangha from far and wide gathered to receive the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and teachings on purification and karma with UK Spiritual Director Kadam Bridget Heyes.
South West UK Dharma Celebration 2022
The South West Dharma Celebration this year was hosted by KMC Plymouth. 85 people from throughout the region gathered to receive the empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani and teachings on the five forces from Kadam Bridget Heyes, National Spiritual Director for UK and Ireland.
Spanish Dharma Celebration 2022
At the 2022 Spanish Dharma Celebration, Gen Chokga, the National Spiritual Director in Spain, granted the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and gave teachings on how to purify our mind to the 350 attendees at the Malaga Temple and other 100 online.
National Dharma Celebration in Mexico 2022
Last weekend 350 Kadampa practitioners from all over Mexico gathered at Kadampa Meditation Centre Cuernavaca for the National Celebration with Gen Kelsang Sangden, National Spiritual Director for Mexico.
Nordic Dharma Celebration 2022
This year the Nordic Dharma Celebration was hosted by Kadampa Meditation Centre Copenhagen in Denmark, where over 60 people from the Nordic sangha were fortunate enough to meet in-person and via online recordings, to celebrate together over 3 wonderful days.
National Dharma Celebration in Brazil 2022
After a 3-year wait since the last gathering at the Brazil Temple for the National Festival, this year people from all over Brazil reunited with old friends to receive profound blessings and teachings, enjoy working and laughing together and experience directly how wonderful it is to attend a Kadampa Festival in person.
