Once a year in Buenos Aires, a special event is organized by the city called The Night of the Temples, in which all the temples of all religions in the city open their doors to the public. Last weekend, KMC Argentina participated in this year’s event and was visited by more than 320 people in four hours!
The 15th French Kadampa Festival was held at KMC France over the last 6 days with Gen-la Kelsang Thubten granting the blessing empowerment of White Tara and giving teachings on training the mind. The entire Festival was in-person only, with no online participation available.
This last week over 170 people attended the 17th German National Festival both in-person and online. The Festival was hosted by Tharpaland KMC.
More than 75 students gathered from all around the Pacific Northwest for a magical Dharma Celebration at KMC Washington last weekend. This year, Gen Kelsang Rigpa, Western US National Spiritual Director and Resident Teacher at KMC Los Angeles, granted the blessing empowerment Buddha Maitreya and gave teachings on Loving Kindness to participants both in-person and online.
Last weekend was the 16th Spanish Dharma Celebration, the largest to date, with more than 460 participants from all over Spain. This year, due to the construction of the 6th Kadampa Traditional Temple at KMC Spain in Malaga, it was celebrated at KMC Barcelona in Montserrat. Also, for the first time, both in person and online.
The 2021 Argentinian Festival took place last weekend hosted by KMC Argentina. Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, granted the empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita and gave teachings on the practice remotely from IKRC Grand Canyon in Arizona. The meditations were led by Kelsang Atisha, Resident Teacher of KBC Bodhisattva, remotely from Córdoba, and the festival finished with a beautiful retreat led by Gen Kelsang Rinchung, the Resident Teacher of KMC Argentina.
