Connecting with Buddha’s blessings

Last week more than 500 practitioners from all over Spain gathered at the 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Málaga to celebrate the Spanish National Festival taught by Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, the National Spiritual Director of Austria, Switzerland, Italy and South Africa.
Last weekend Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU granted the blessing empowerment of Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara at this year’s French National Festival.
Recently three centers in France hosted events in which the teachers gave empowerments and commentaries.
Last weekend Kailash International Kadampa Retreat Centre organised a weekend retreat where participants learned different breathing meditation techniques that help them to calm their mind in stressful situations.
Fortunate – and very happy – Kadampas from Slovenia and Austria gathered in Ljubljana this weekend to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya. The empowerment was given by Kadam Andrew Crompton, the Resident Teacher of KMC Slovenia.
Vodafone Spain has a corporate volunteering program that selects worthy causes in the community to help.
This last week they chose the Temple for World Peace at Kadampa Meditation Center Spain and sent a full team of 54 volunteers to help for the day.
At Kailash International Kadampa Retreat Centre over 40 people from 9 different countries have just finished a special 6-week silent retreat. They started with a close retreat of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka, which was followed by training in the five stages of the actual practice of Mahamudra.
This weekend at Kadampa Meditation Centre Barcelona over 180 people received the blessing empowerment of Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden from their Resident Teacher Gen Lochani.
This past weekend Kadampa Meditation Center Spain organised a concentration retreat based on the meditations on equalising self with others guided by the Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Chokga.
Last weekend Gen Kelsang Dragpa visited KMC Stockholm where he taught a course on how to practice mindfulness in everyday life followed by a day course on karma.
