This June 10 and 11, KMC Bilbao received a very special visit, from international teacher Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, in which she shared from her heart teachings to understand why knowing and transforming our mind, we can transform the world.
KMC Spain celebrated on the 10th of June its first anniversary of the 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace. The program included guided visits to the Temple and the site, gifts raffles, varios Cafés and shop open, activities for children and the most popular one: a public talk with the NSD in Spain and resident teacher, Gen Kelsang Chokga.
Following the Spring Festival, the Kadampa Meditation Centers in Berlin and Paris held compelling public talks that drew substantial crowds both in-person and online.
The sangha from the Spanish centers of KMC Albacete and Avalokiteshvara KBC in Huelva have been enjoying spring with their spiritual friends. Combining their courses with outdoor meditations and walks in beautiful locations, they have enjoyed the chance to build their sangha community.
IKRC Menorca hosted Nagarjuna KMC for a retreat guided by Kadam Bridget Heyes entitled “Calming the mind: a Buddhist approach”.
For the first time, Kadam Dharma appears in this beautiful country surrounded by the green mountains of the Pyrenees. An inaugural conference given by Gen Kelsang Lochani, Resident Teacher at KMC Barcelona, with more than 100 people at the emblematic Roc Blanc Hotel starts the journey.
Last weekend on the West coast of Europe, in the charming city of Sintra, the Portugal National Festival organised by Kadampa Meditation Center Deuachen was held at the forth Kadampa Temple for World Peace.
Gen-la Kelsang Thubten granted the empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita during the festival and provided commentary to the Yoga of Great Mother practice and meditations on emptiness from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book The New Heart of Wisdom. The importance of engaging in the meditation on emptiness was emphasized throughout the festival.
Recently people of Norway and Sweden enjoyed clear and profound guidance of visiting teacher Gen Kelsang Lekma. Through her practical approach and skillful presenting of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s teachings from ‘The New Eight Steps to Happiness’ hearts of almost 30 persons were deeply touched and transformed.
This year’s Austrian Dharma celebration held April 14 – 16th 2023 with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, National Spiritual Director for Italy, Austria and Switzerland, was an unforgettable weekend with participants from all over Austria, Slovenia and Switzerland.
Last weekend Gen Kelsang Dragpa, the National Spiritual Director of the Nordic region, granted the empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita and gave commentary to the practice at this year’s Swiss Dharma Celebration.
